As Chief Financial Officer, Manny John Varas has a broad range of responsibilities and is involved with all phases of the construction process. John manages, and monitors the company’s treasury, investments, accounting, sub-contractor, and vendor project finances. He brings a comprehensive understanding for the particular needs of a variety of projects. His focus, drive, and straightforward approach to problem-solving and change management make him an exceptional leader. Manny John Varas is a graduate of the University of Miami.
Richard Garcia is responsible for and heavily involved in: project plan development, construction operations, cost and schedule analysis, subcontractor negotiations, and understands how to implement plans effectively and take a project through completion. Richard has collaborated with some of the top architects and designers in building high-end interior projects in St. Regis, Jade Brickell, Paramount Bay, & luxury waterfront residences throughout South Florida.
Richard is a graduate of Florida International University with a BA in Finance and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. He also attended graduate studies at Purdue University. His passion for health and fitness has empowered him to not only complete a full marathon here in Miami, but has also initiated a health and wellness program at MV Group by its participation in the Corporate Run.
Valdemar Revilla assists the team in accounting and financial processes. He also prepares financial analysis for potential commercial projects for the group. Detail–oriented individual who exemplifies professionalism, and an ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at any given moment. Demonstrated history of successfully providing high-quality guidance to staff and management as well as facilitating solid client relations. Highlighted leadership qualities and the ability to work with and manage people from varying backgrounds, while promoting team values.
Val began his career in accounting and finance in Venezuela working in Investment and trading he received his bachelor degree in Accounting. In addition, Valdemar Revilla earned his MBA from University of Illinois.
Elisha has managed the design thru the completion of nearly 30,000 SF of interior build-outs at and has overseen both luxury residential & commercial interior projects as well as the construction of complex custom residences. Elisha enjoys managing projects from the initial idea on a cad drawing to the actual final client walk-thru. She takes great pride in being able to combine the architect’s design, the designer vision and being able to orchestrate effectively to achieve the client’s dream.
Elisha holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the esteemed Tulane School of Architecture and is actively involved in her community having served as the committee chair for MV’s Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build and Corporate Run.
Nicole Luis has overseen multi-million dollar custom home projects, from pre-construction through project completion, with a special emphasis on waterfront luxury residences. Nicole is known for her amazing work ethic, attention to detail and under the radar leadership style. During her tenure at MV she has managed the design & construction of waterfront homes on Palm Island, Golden Isles, and Hibiscus Island.
She is a graduate of one the most prestigious design university in the world, Academia Italiana in Florence, Italy f
Maria Varas is MV Groups Head Accounting Clerk. She oversees daily accounting and financial matters. Her role facilitates the designers, project managers, and buildout crew during the various project stages by ensuring proper reports pulled for budget updates, as well as paying out vendors and materials. Her duties are vital to our team’s success for every project type.
Geovanni is an experienced superintendent who has worked with MV since 2008 and has over 20 years of experience. He enjoys his ability to see the whole picture and position everyone to maximize construction output daily. He has completed a wide variety of fast-paced complicated projects from custom residential & commercial projects in South Florida and beyond. His diverse experience includes framing, drywall, layouts, with a focus of complicated interior finishes of luxury waterfront residential projects.
Emma Pereira’s primary responsibility is to ensure the overall success of each project by managing design/build projects through the pre-construction, construction and closeout phases. Her focus is on Interiors having worked on over 25,000 SF and believes effective communication is the key to effective project execution.
Emma holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Florida International University. She is also actively involved in the firm’s Habitat for Humanity and Corporate Run initiatives.
